This isn’t a true W because of the gap in the middle, but the shape is close. And when set-up next to a rail or fence, it creates a weaving exercise. I have created seven unique ways to utilize this shape to work with your horse. They go from easy to more difficult. Below is a list of each way to go through it along with a video demonstration. I purposely left the raw training moments in the video. My demos are not perfect by any means. That way, you can see the challenges I had working with my own horses. It may take going through each one several times to get it to where you want it.
Please note that you can make this easier or harder by how tight the gaps are. The smaller the gaps you lead your horse through, the harder it will be. Play around with it. Of course, it depends on your horse’s size and where they are in their training.
Take your time and have fun!
