What kind of rest comes to mind when you read this What kind of rest comes to mind when you read this verse? In music, a rest means to be quiet or to stop playing for a certain amount of time. That is the rest I've experienced from the Lord. When I go to the Lord with my burdens, He quiets the fears, the doubts, the frustrations, and worries I have. If something is weighing you down today, go to the Lord and let Him give you the rest that your heart needs.

Our baby has been diagnosed with a terminal illnes Our baby has been diagnosed with a terminal illness. She's not expected to survive. The only thing keeping me going is God and His blessings. I don't understand His will, but I trust Him to bring me through it. If you're facing an impossible situation just know that God loves you and wants to help you through it. I've chosen to celebrate her in every way possible and cherish every moment. Nothing is ever wasted and a lot of blessings can come from our trials and suffering. I won't lean on my own understanding. I'll let God lead me for all my life.

God is good all the time. It's not just a phrase God is good all the time.

It's not just a phrase to say when you're experiencing a spiritual high.

I grapple with the woes of the world on a regular basis, but if I only focused on those I would despair. But when I shift my focus to the beauty of the cross and how He saved me I am filled with hope and praise.

Wishing you all a wonderful day! Praise God for He is good.

This week's blog is, how to beat the heat with you This week's blog is, how to beat the heat with your horse. There are some helpful tips to help keep your horse comfortable during these brutally hot days. I used to ride my horse down to the local creek and swim and play in the water. It was always so fun. Right now I'm a little too pregnant to do that, but looking forward to it next year. Wishing you all a wonderful week. Follow the link in my bio and click on most recent articles.
I want to share/update everyone on my life because I want to share/update everyone on my life because it is going to affect content creation and the blog. Our baby has been diagnosed with some chromosome abnormalities (trisomy 14 &1) that have affected her heart, brain, and growth. She's has been given a terminal diagnosis. She is a miracle because the Dr.’s are amazed she’s even made it this far. I have hopes to make it to term with her, but the likelihood of her surviving for very long is slim. So…during this difficult time I will continue to do some updates, but I won’t have a lot of horse content to share as I’m not able to spend much time with the horses. I’m still writing and working on the blog currently and have some exciting guest posts lined up in the near future. I believe God has a plan in all this.Thank you for your support and understanding. I am grateful for all of you and your prayers.

28 weeks I look better than I feel. It's been a r 28 weeks

I look better than I feel. It's been a rough ride so far and I've still got a few months to go. Also, ignore my ugly barn shoes. Please stick with me as I try to keep up with putting out new content. The heat has been hard on me and I have spent little time with my horses except feeding and late evenings after the sun goes down and only then just to give them scratches and treats.

Hi, I'm Rachel. I am the creator of The Narrow Trail. I've been riding horses since before I could walk. I was the horse obsessed girl that just never grew out of it you could say. I'm like most people, my days are busy and filled with taking care of my kids, running a house, and running my own business, but I always find time to have fun with all- two-legged and four-legged alike.
